LAPD car auctions offer a wide variety of vehicles, from tow impounds and drug seizures to abandoned cars and repossessions. However, it’s crucial to carefully review the auction listings to understand exactly what you’re bidding on.
While these auctions can be competitive, I’ve consistently found good deals available. Just remember to do your research and be prepared to act quickly.
Hollywood Tow Lien Sale Vehicle Auction – They hold tow impound auctions weekly on Thursdays. The auction vehicle inspection process is at 8:30 a.m. and the auction begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. The auction center is located at 1015 N. Mansfield Avenue in Los Angeles, California 90038.
City of Long Beach Lien Sales Auction – The Long Beach Lien Sales Auction takes place biweekly on Tuesdays and is accessible to the general public at 3111 E. Willow Street, Long Beach, California, between Temple Avenue and Redondo Avenue. We find a large variety of makes and models at this auction, but the volume is lower than the other tow impound auctions.
